Caroline Roesel Behavioral Health offers specialized therapy for children, teens, and adults. Specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Caroline finds the best method to help manage stress, anxiety, and life’s challenges.
Applied Behavior Analysis
Uncover the why behind your behavior. This is the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Understanding the reasons behind your behavior and the behavior of those around you will assist you in making more deliberate choices.
Who is ABA for?
ABA is the most empirically-validated approach to supporting people with autism. Caroline offers compassionate ABA and uses assent-based services with individuals with autism/neurodivergent differences, and individuals with disabilities.
Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics
The most effective behavioral treatment for tic disorders is available in the Austin area. CBIT utilizes evidence-based and simple procedures to reduce the frequency and severity of tics that can be disruptive, embarrassing, or unsafe.
Who is CBIT for?
CBIT is the first-line behavioral treatment recommended by the Tourette Association of America. This drug-free approach is for clients ages 6 and older. Caroline provides clients with an upfront estimation of treatment length, which is typically 6-8 weeks. Many clients see week-over-week improvements in their tics.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
If you’re tired of feeling overwhelmed or exhausted by challenging emotions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help. Learn methods to rewire your thinking and behavior patterns through committing to new habits. ACT is a powerful tool set that helps people better withstand challenges, even in the face of difficult emotions.
Who is ACT for?
Adults, teens, and children struggling with anxiety-related challenges
Neurodivergent adults and teens
Parents seeking stress reduction
