What to Expect
Understanding the journey is essential for your success. Here’s what you can expect when working with Caroline:
Initial Consultation: An initial 15-30 minute free consultation will help you and Caroline determine if her services are the best fit for your needs.
Intake Assessment & Goal Setting Session: During your first session, Caroline will conduct a comprehensive interview and evidence-based assessment chosen for your exact needs, discussing potential goals, and an estimate of length of treatment. Caroline has made significant gains with clients in as little as four sessions.
Therapy Sessions: Therapy sessions utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques, which are tailored to your unique needs. Sessions include practicing real techniques designed to improve your ability to cope with challenging emotions.
Progressive Evaluation: Caroline will regularly review your progress and adapt the approach as needed to ensure that you are on track to achieve your goals.
Fading Services: As you gain skills and confidence, Caroline will gradually reduce the frequency of sessions. The fading process helps you practice greater independence with your new skillset so you can better manage future challenges without additional support.
