Caroline Roesel is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serving individuals and families seeking behavioral health support. Since 2015, Caroline has supported the greater-Austin area, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to clients from toddlerhood through late adulthood. In addition to her clinical work, she is an adjunct professor at St. Edward’s University, teaching in the M.A. program for Applied Behavior Analysis.
Her work with individuals with special needs began during her undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Texas Woman’s University. She went on to teach in the general education setting before returning to school to earn her first of two graduate degrees. During her graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin, she worked at the UT Meadow’s Center for Preventing Educational Risk with children with a wide range of diagnoses, including autism, ODD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning disabilities. Caroline has served in diverse roles, including teacher, research assistant, and analyst at various clinical and director levels. Her work includes supporting families and/or individuals with a variety of developmental differences, learning differences, and psychiatric diagnoses.
After years of working with children and their families, Caroline’s practice expanded to adults living in group homes with moderate to severe behavioral challenges and psychiatric diagnoses. She specializes in providing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to improve psychological flexibility for parents, neurodivergent adults, and those navigating mental health challenges.
In addition to holding a licensure in behavior analysis, Caroline is pursuing a second master’s degree in Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
